Boarding

Hub télécom distribute the Aéroports de Paris CREWS packages: work-stations which are common to and shared by several airlines. A CREWS station handles the folwwowong operations:

  • passenger check-in,
  • the generation of baggage labels,
  • production of the weight estimation,

The CREWS package

Hub télécom offer CREWS stations in private areas (lounges, etc.) which provide:

  • centralised information on a server for:
    • the immediate updating of all stations,
    • server management of peripherals.
  • the instant incorporation of information from all new airlines:
    • thanks to access to its DCS,
    • a SITA telecoms link (from the server to each DCS) provides information feedback.
  • Connection from the server to the client’s installation by fibre-optic link.

CREWS must be used on a dedicated station for security reasons:

  • access to the secure database,
  • no machine breakdown due to a Microsoft problem,
  • After-sales service dedicated to CREWS.

The subscription includes:

  • central administration, supervision and maintenance of networks and servers,
  • ensuring security for all operations, saving back-up copies, restoring and purges,
  • the deployment of new software versions and anti-virus updates on each work station,
  • maintenance of the terminal equipment concerned.

Equipment

CREWS sites are based on two distinct elements, each comprising:

  • A database server and “Normal” file servers.
  • A database server and “Emergency” file servers.
